Despite the valued support of BT, Openreach and the Civil Service Insurance Society Charity Fund, the Benevolent Fund relies more than ever on the generosity of around 13,000 BT employees and pensioners who contribute directly from their salary or pension. Without this ongoing support, our ability to help those in need would be significantly limited.

As a BT Group employee, there are two simple ways you can start supporting the Fund today:

Payroll Giving lets you donate to charity directly from your salary before tax is taken, meaning more goes to your chosen cause, and less to tax. Your chosen charity gets 100% of your donation as BT covers the admin costs.

Join the Fund’s Payroll Giving scheme

BT has introduced the Round Pound scheme, making it easy for employees to support the BT Benevolent Fund by donating the spare pennies from their monthly salary i.e. the amount above the nearest whole pound.

It might feel like just a few pennies, but together these small contributions can make a real difference to colleagues facing genuine hardship.

If you’d like to take part, simply opt in to the Round Pound scheme. It only takes a minute to complete the form.

The most you could donate through this scheme is £11.88 a year and for most people, it will be even less.
