Debbie Terry is to take over as manager of the BT Benevolent Fund - following the retirement of Barrie Seaman after ten years with the fund. Currently a senior human resources manager in BT Retail, Debbie will take up her new role at the end of September.

The Fund's Administrator, Rita Hicks, has retired after six years with the Fund. Amongst her many duties she master-minded the pensioner recruitment mailings which have proved so successful for the Fund. We wish her a long and happy retirement.

Marjorie Graham has joined the Fund as Rita's replacement. Marjorie retired from BT this year where she served as PA to two General Managers.

February 2008 saw the start of a rolling campaign of mailings to all present BT employees. The mail shots will make everyone aware of the Fund and its work and also provide a convenient opportunity for new supporters to join by payroll giving. Look out for the articles in BT Today to hear more about this initiative.
